What do you do in your current role?
My role involves responding to customer queries and requests, providing tenders, booking and planning orders and monitoring deliveries. I work with both customers in Sweden and abroad – primarily in Asia and Australia, including large retailers of our products. Some orders are regularly reoccurring, whereas others might be a single order of a customer-unique product.
What do you like about your job?
I enjoy the variety of customer orders we receive. One minute I might be working on an order from a Japanese train company, and the next for a Swedish marine application. I also enjoy helping customers find good solutions to meet their needs – I have not yet worked on a project where we couldn’t solve the customer’s problem!
How have you developed at BUMAX?
I have certainly developed my technical knowledge of different fastener solutions through my role and by working closely with my knowledgeable colleagues, and I am always keen to further develop my expertise. I have also developed my sales skills, particularly how to deal with people from different backgrounds and situations.
What is your proudest achievement to date at BUMAX?
I am proud of many things during my time at BUMAX. Recently, I worked on a large customer order where I dealt with all customer communication, provided the tender, and booked and monitored the order. I find it extremely satisfying managing large orders as you really feel you contribute to the company’s success.
What is the best thing about working at BUMAX?
BUMAX is a great company to work for because we develop new products and innovative fastener solutions for customers all around the world. I also enjoy the global nature of what we do at BUMAX – particularly dealing with customers from different cultures.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy keeping fit, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family.
