What do you do in your current role?
As a BUMAX Account Manager, I have a varied role. I have direct contact with our customers and provide them with technical support, tender agreements and order booking. This often involves working closely with my BUMAX colleagues working with production, technical and purchasing, as well as our parent company Bufab. I work mostly with customers in Sweden, but also our various distributors around the world.
When did you start at BUMAX?
I started working for BUMAX in January 2016, after studying Export Sales at university.
What do you like about your job?
I enjoy working with our entire value chain – from customer need to solution. We have a great team of colleagues and I enjoy good relations with our customers by providing them with a high standard of customer service.
How have you developed at BUMAX?
I have certainly learnt a great deal about fasteners, different materials and the sector in general over these past few years – both through on-the-job experience and formal training. I have also found it interesting to learn about the industry, production and purchasing, and how we can best meet customer needs.
What is your proudest achievement to date at BUMAX?
I would say striving to go that extra mile to make sure we fully meet our customers’ needs. Customers are appreciative of our high level of service, and this makes me proud. Going that extra mile might involve meeting an urgent customer need by fast-tracking or streamlining a particular process or by thinking outside the box to use an alternative fastener solution.
What is the best thing about working at BUMAX?
We have a great working environment and good communication throughout our flat organization. I also like that fact that there are opportunities to develop within BUMAX.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy taking trips abroad and experiencing new cultures, as well as outdoor activities and being out in the forest.
