Hi Elina. What does your current role involve?
Managing BUMAX Finnish sales involves meeting potential customers and engineers around the country to see how we can best meet their particular fastener requirements and overcome their challenges. I work proactively to reach out to customers and promote BUMAX at trade fairs and seminars. I also work with customer technical designs and quotations.
What do you like most about your job?
I like that every day is different, and I enjoy planning ahead and multitasking by working with several different tasks at once. I see myself as a solutionist and enjoy proposing new solutions to customers and how BUMAX can specifically benefit them. I also enjoy meeting people and developing good personal relations with our customers and partners.
What are your proudest achievements to date at BUMAX?
I feel that I have succeeded in really enhancing the BUMAX brand in Finland in recent years – although this is of course a continuous process and we still have a lot of work to do. I also feel proud of our contribution to some extremely challenging projects that involved delivering solutions that exceeded customer expectations – particularly in terms of quality, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength on applications in the pulp and paper, and mining industries.
What do you think is the best thing about working at BUMAX?
It is great to work for a company with extremely good products, particularly in terms of quality, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. I also enjoy co-operating with my colleagues and finding solutions to meet customer requirements.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy being with my family. I like keep fit classes, yoga, skiing and gardening, as well as reading Swedish detective novels.
