Hi Klaus. What do you do in your current role?
As the BUMAX Business Development Manager for Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland, I promote the BUMAX brand in the region, develop new markets, and manage customer orders and sales. Together with my team, we provide technical advice to customers, exhibit at trade fairs and lecture at colleges and universities about stainless steel fasteners.
What have you previously worked with?
I have previously worked for 10 years for a leading provider of bolting technologies – most recently as a Project and Business Development Manager, and previously as Sales Manager for Germany and Austria. Before that, I have worked as Quality Manager, Technical Manager and in production for various companies since the 1990s.
What do you like about your job?
The great thing about working for BUMAX is our unique and very innovative products. I also appreciate the flat hierarchy, the cooperation on product development and our skilled team. This all provides a perfect environment for creativity and innovation.
What is the best thing about working at BUMAX?
BUMAX has unique products in its portfolio that no other company can produce anywhere in the world. The best thing about working for BUMAX is visiting a customer and watching them realize that we can finally help them solve a problem they might have had for many years.
How would you like to develop at BUMAX?
After working for such a long time in the fastener industry, I now want to deepen my expertise in stainless steels.
What would you like to achieve at BUMAX?
Together with my sales colleagues, I want to tell everyone about how fantastic BUMAX products are so that more customers can benefit from their unique properties.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy being out in the nature with my family, perhaps long walks in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter. We like to go on vacation to get to know new countries and cultures. I also enjoy motorbiking and when I have time, driving through the beautiful scenery of Southern Germany.
