What do you do in your current role?
I repair and maintain our machinery here at the BUMAX factory in Åshammar together with my four colleagues – to ensure production continues to run smoothly. Our work is extremely varied with different planned maintenance tasks and sometimes urgent repair jobs. We have the competence and tools to manage most tasks ourselves, but we sometimes use a specialist maintenance partner.
What do you like most about your job?
We have a great working environment here in Åshammar and I enjoy overcoming technical challenges with our machines. I like working with our older machines, which sometimes involves manufacturing our own replacement parts here at the factory when spare parts are not available.
What do you think is the best thing about working at BUMAX?
I find my work interesting and I like the people I work with. It’s great how we all play our part in the production chain here at Åshammar – to produce fantastic fasteners for our customers!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I play golf and enjoy watching football and ice hockey, as well as fishing and being out in the nature.
